Mass Audubon's Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary

Say goodbye to blasé images and capture the essence of a Cape Cod in winter. The barren landscapes, wildlife, cloud formations, beaches lit by the soft low light are the ingredients for stunning images.

Students will be challenged to use the advanced features on the camera and slow down to refine composition and produce artistic photographs. We will follow the light, shooting early mornings, late afternoons and the night sky weather permitting.

Locations include the tip of Sandy Neck, Provincetown, the Brewster flats, Rock Harbor and more. Rare access to the tip of Sandy Neck for an afternoon through sunset followed by a group dinner will surely make for a day to be remembered.

To balance out our time in the elements, lectures, lively discussions and photo critiques will be held at the very cozy Long Pasture.
