A Stroll Through the Truro Vineyards

Nestled in between quaint Wellfleet and bustling Provincetown is the tiny charming town of Truro. The Truro Vineyards are a true gem of the outer cape.

Operated by the Roberts family since 2007, the vineyard had been a long time dream of owner Dave Roberts, former CEO of United Liquors. Visitors to the vineyards can take a free guided tour at either 1pm or 3pm, and walk through the grapevines and wine production facilities. Tastings take place throughout the day under the vineyard’s gorgeous open air pavilion. If you’re hoping for a bite to eat with your drink, check out the unique and impressive menu on the Blackfish food truck, open seven days a week and located right on the property. The vineyard also has a well stocked gift shop, full of drinks, local wares, and of course, speciality lighthouse bottles of Truro wines. If you find yourself on the outer cape this fall, be on the lookout for the vineyard’s public harvest call. Volunteers can help harvest the grapes and are rewarded with their own bottle in return. Head on down to 11 Shore Road, right off of Route 6A in North Truro to witness this incredible property yourself.

Outside of the photographic world, Kaitrin can be found painting colorful art cars, trying new foods, and planning to travel wherever she can get to.
