Dennis Golf Has You Covered for Your Next Corporate Outing

Have you been looking for a great place to hold your corporate event, work party, team-building experience or other business outing? Look no further! Dennis Golf offers two beautiful golf courses for you to choose from.

Whether your team is full of great golfers, novices, or amateurs, these courses are the perfect places to allow for a fun and memorable total golf experience. And even though they’re open to the public, they have the feel of a private club, which your employees will love.

Both the Dennis Pines and Dennis Highlands golf courses are the best choice for any type of outing. Both facilities have the ability to host large group tournaments.

Designed by Henry C. Mitchell and opened for play in 1966, Dennis Pines has long been noted as one of the toughest layouts on Cape Cod. Tree-lined corridors place a great premium on accuracy rather than distance. Water comes into play on four holes, and the 12th hole is recognized as one of the most difficult par fives anywhere.

The Pines golf course will challenge amateur golfers of all ages. It is a registered 18-hole, 72-par course with a variety of terrain, water hazards and sand traps. The course is challenging with its fairly narrow fairways are unforgiving to wayward balls. It is a course that is easy to learn and more than worth a second visit. The more you play, the more you will enjoy playing at the Pines.

Dennis Highlands is a par 71, 6,500-yard championship golf course. It is situated on 175 acres of pine and oak-covered rolling ground on the north side of Dennis. Designed by Jack Kidwell and Mike Hurdzan, it opened for play in 1984. It is a course marked by an impressive entranceway among wild flowers and trees, leading to a beautiful clubhouse, and boasts one of the most spectacular practice ranges in golf, culminated in 18 of the most visual and enjoyable golf holes in sequence anywhere.

Dennis Highlands is definitely the course you want to play if you are a novice golfer or would like to have that leisurely outing with friends or family. Recent, extensive renovations to Dennis Highlands have made it a much more golfer-friendly venue.

The Eagle’s Nest at the Highlands offers great choices every day and the event coordinator is happy to sit down and discuss a menu for any tournament or function you have in mind. Plus, new this year, they will be operating a hospitality cart on the golf course, along with the 10th-hole tee snack shack. Talk about convenience! And speaking of carts, they now have a fleet of brand-new golf carts for you to enjoy in comfort.

Within the past five years, both courses have been renovated through the vision of golf course architect Robert McNeil, of Northeast Golf Design. Rob worked diligently with Golf Director Michael Cummings and both superintendents, George Fairbanks (Highlands) and Brian Campbell (Pines), to bring a whole new level of playability to the courses. The course renovations have been well received by both members and guests and alike and we are thrilled with the outcome.

Both courses offer natural beauty in all seasons, especially fall, when the leaves turn an array of brilliant colors. These are both well-maintained courses with excellent fairways and greens, and offer just the right combination of water, sand and grass hazards.

This fall, Dennis Golf is offering a 2 for 1 Greens Fee special, which returns September 4 and runs Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, all day. You just pay for a cart (per rider). So, if you’re planning that company outing, look no further than Dennis Golf. They’ve got you covered.
