We are one week away from Halloween! Since October 31st falls on a Wednesday, many events will be taking place this weekend! From Spooky to Kooky, here is your complete list of Halloween-themed events on Cape Cod:

FOR ADULTS:

Captain Lazarus Haunted Harbor, 10/25-30, 6 – 8:30, CC Community Media Center

A frightful tour you won’t soon forget! Admission is ten dollars and profits are used for

scholarships for high school students. Capt. Lazarus Haunted Harbor may be too intense for

Costume Party: Night of the Living Dead, Fri, 10/26, 6 PM, Cape Cod Beer

Come dressed as your favorite celebrity or scientist- dead or alive! Live music with the Zombie

Polka Band! Featuring a special cask beer release. Free admission, cash bar.

18th Annual Arts and Souls Masquerade Ball, Sat, 10/27, 7:30, Cotuit Ctr. for the Arts

Celebrate your favorite time trekkers and historical figures. Enjoy dancing, refreshments

(cash bar), and prizes for funniest, scariest, group and best Time Travel themed costumes.

Black & Gold Ball, Sat, 10/27, 8-12, Provincetown Town Hall

Where else better to celebrate Halloween than Provincetown at the 1st Black & Gold Ball,

featuring DJ Lina from NYC. Start your night on Commercial St filled with creatively

costumed revelers and then make your way to historic Town Hall for a night of partying.

Presented by Salt Hotels. Proceeds benefit the AIDS Support Group Of Cape Cod.

Halloween Safety Day at the West Barnstable Fire Department, Sun, 10/28, 11-1

Family Fun at the West Barnstable FD. Wear your Halloween Costume. Kid Games. Candy.

Pumpkin Bowling. Refreshments. Face Painting. The NOT-SO-SCARY-MAZE!

 

Trick-or-treat with Cape Cod Coffee and the Mashpee Police Department, Mon, 10/29

On Monday, October 29 from 3:30pm to 5:30pm the Mashpee PD will be at Cape Cod

Coffee (348 Main Street). We’ll have candy for early trick-or-treating, donut holes, coffee,

hot cocoa, apple cider, and more! Children are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes.

 

Halloween Safe Trick-or-Treat, Wed, 10/31, Main St, Hyannis, 4-6

The street will be closed to traffic for a safe trick or treating experience for everyone!

 

Osterville Halloween Parade, Wed, 10/31, Main St, Osterville, 4-5

A Halloween Parade down Main Street Osterville for kids, starting outside Claire Murray and

ending at Osterville Library for snacks and a story. Sponsored by Osterville Rotary Club

 

FOR FAMILIES:

Enchanted Forest, Fri, 10/26, 5:30-9:30, Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary, Cummaquid

For one night only, the woodlands will awaken. A guide will lead you along a lantern-lit trail

where you will encounter new creatures of the night—some strange, some silly, and some

who have much to say. Family-friendly, non-scary Halloween fun, suitable for children ages

3 & up. Tours leave every 10 minutes. Register in advance to guarantee your preferred tour

Green Halloween, Sat, 10/27, 10-2, Cape Cod Museum of Natural History

Wear a costume and join the FUN at the annual GREEN HALLOWEEN celebration! No

Tricks…All Treats! All the favorites are back! The Local Scoop Pop Mobile, Agway Maze,

and Pirate Ship! Plus activity stations with crafts, games, and Silly Squad Scavenger Hunt!

Barnstable Village Halloween Stroll, Sat, 10/27, 4-6 PM

A community event for all ~ wear your costumes and join the parade around the County

Courthouse Complex. After the parade walk around to all the decorated trunks for treats.

Enjoy a dance party, costume contest, Ice cream & hayrides! Rain date Sunday.

Family Halloween Festival, Sat, 10/27, 5-9 PM, Heritage Museums and Gardens

Activities include a Halloween dance party, family photos in the spooky Model T, rides on

the vintage carousel, Halloween-themed crafts, and because it’s STEM week – STEM

activities at The Hundred Acre School. $5 per person with a $25 family maximum; free for
