Quirky Places for Your Next Cape Cod Vacation

Cape Cod is home to hundreds of resorts, motels, and summer homes, but it’s also home to several unique properties and places. If you’re looking for something a bit more unexpected for your next vacation we’ve got you covered. Here’s a look at a few interesting ones we’ve found. If there’s a place you know of that we’ve left off, get in touch we’d love to hear about it.

Nauset Knoll Motor Lodge
Fantastic lodging within the national seashore, this motel has unparalleled views. It’s government owned but privately run.
The Keeper’s House at Race Point Lighthouse
Accommodation for 11 at the base of RacePoint Lighthouse is available at this remote location. Transportation is provided to the house in the Keepers four wheel drive SUVs, so make sure you bring everything with you.

Wings Neck Lighthouse
You’ll have the Lighthouse, the private beach, and the keepers house all to yourself at this gorgeous rental.

Beach Camping
You need to bring your own Off Road Vehicle but having a camper on the beach is totally a possibility at arguably two of the best beaches on Cape Cod:
Sandy Neck
Sippewissett TiPis  At Sippewissett, campers can rent one of the Sioux TiPis on site. They’re in high demand so put in a reservation request early.

Quirky Houses
Here are few fantastic rental options from WeNeedaVacation.com

The BoatHouse: If you love the water, stay in a former boat house and have the water at your front door.
Ultra Modern: If little white summer cottages isn’t your style, check out this modern vacation home in Truro.
