Parents who are looking for safe trick or treating events for their children should check out the following events across the Cape and Islands:
Brewster: At City Hall, on October 31 trick or treating starts at 5:30pm.
Chatham: At the Community Center, on October 28 at 4pm children in costumes parade through downtown Main Street.
Falmouth: Meeting at the Village Green on Main Street, October 29 at 12:30 children can trick or treat down Main Street.
Harwich: On October 31, the Community Center is hosting a safe trick or treating inside the building starting at 4:30pm.
Hyannis: Main Street on October 31, from 4pm to 6pm children can trick or treat downtown. Various shops will be open to hand out treats.
Martha’s Vineyard: Meeting at the Mansion House at the Vineyard Haven on October 31 a Halloween parade starts at 4pm. After the parade, the Vineyard Haven Library is having story time and fun for children.
Mashpee: On October 29, at 1pm to 4pm, Mashpee Commons in cooperation with Hot Diggity is hosting a Halloween parade for kids and dogs to trick or treat.
Nantucket: Center of town on Main Street, at October 31 at 4pm there’s a Halloween parade, a costume judging contest and more fun for kids.
Orleans: Main Street on October 29 at 2:30pm there will be a stroll for kids.
Provincetown: From October 28- November 1 it’s Halloween Week. There are haunted attractions, lots of parties and parades for kids.
Yarmouth: At The First Congregational Church on October 28 starting at 5pm to 6:30pm car trunks will be open for kids to trick or treat from car to car. A Halloween party is held in the church afterwards.
