Are you one of those people who start their holiday shopping weeks in advance, or do you wait until the absolute last minute to scramble? Either way, you’ll want to know what some of the most popular gifts are, particularly if you’re shopping for kids and teenagers. Here are just a few of the hottest items kids are asking for this year. Better get them soon!

Barbie DreamHouse – We kid you not! Kids are asking for the 3-foot-tall, 4-foot-wide Barbie DreamHouse, which is practically a mansion, and is included in several major retailers’ toy lists. It incorporates lights and sounds (tea kettles, oven timers) for an interactive play experience, as well as an elevator, and comes with 70 pieces. For ages 3 and up, this favorite rings in at around $180.

Really Rad Robots RC, Mibro – Remote controlled MiBro is your ultimate robot companion. Attach the tray accessory and it delivers. Its built-in microphone picks up sounds nearby and sends them to the remote control. Drive it up to someone and you can send messages from a distance by talking through the remote control. MiBro comes with a soccer ball, a rad blaster, a tray and a foam hand. For ages 5 and up, and costs around $35.

LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle – For ages 16 and up. This is what you might refer to as the BIG gift this year. For all the Harry-obsessed muggles on your list, this 6,000+ piece item (yes, you read that right) comes with mini and micro figures of all your favorite characters. Prepare to open that wallet wide, however. This item costs around $400.

Fortnite: Deep Freeze Bundle (PlayStation 4) – If there’s a gamer in your household, you’ve likely heard of “Fortnite,” the multiplayer phenomenon that’s taken over the world. The game is what’s known as an open-world survival game, in which players collect resources, make tools and weapons, and try to stay alive as long as possible. Deep Freeze just hit the streets, so it’s the newest version out there. Rated T for Teen, and costs around $30. Also available for Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

WowWee Fingerlings – Last year’s popularity continues as kids are still begging for these cute little animals (now including dragons, unicorns and raptors) that hang onto your fingers. Many are interactive, meaning they can blink, make noises, blow kisses, etc. Cost is around $9 to $15 and this product is recommended for kids, ages 5 to 15.

Exploding Kittens – Despite the name, Exploding Kittens is a card game for people who are into kittens and explosions and laser beams. It’s been called a highly-strategic, kitty-powered version of Russian roulette. All of the other cards in the deck are used to move, mitigate, or avoid the exploding kittens. According to the website, “Exploding Kittens is the most-backed, crowd-funded project ever, the most-funded game in the history of Kickstarter, and has paved the way for peace and tranquility in the modern world.” So, there’s that. For ages 7 and up, costs around $20.

It includes 60+ never-before -seen surprises inside with exclusive dolls and accessories. The story is, L.O.L. Surprise! dolls were on a top secret mission when their pet went missing. Find surprise clues across the eye-spy series to help find their pet! Alrighty! For ages 5 and up, and costs around $80.

Hot Diggity Dance & Play Mickey – Kids will recognize the “Hot Dog” song Mickey is singing and dancing to from the popular Disney Junior series, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.Once he’s done with his performance, you can play interactive games with Mickey, too! (They do mean adults, right? Right??) For ages 3 and up, costing around $33.
