Miniature Golf
Cape Cod Mini Golf is a must do whether you live here or are just visiting. Cape Cod has plenty of family oriented entertainment and activities. Miniature Golf is a great sport that can be played by the entire family and it is an experience that should not be missed. Compete with friends and family by trying to get as many holes in 1’s as possible or try playing without mulligans!
Going to the Beach
This may go without saying, but Cape Cod is known for its beaches. These are a must for a fun outdoor activity. Just pick your beach and head out for some fun time in the water or just relax and catch some rays. Don’t forget to stop and grab some lunch before you hit the sand!
Art’s Dune Tours
Head out and explore the dunes of Provincetown with Art’s Dune Tours. These relaxing tours provide some unbelievable views and excellent opportunities to take some nice photos!
Zipline at Heritage Museums and Gardens
Try out Heritage Museums & Gardens’ new zipline adventure park! Great for all ages and families! Heritage Museums & Gardens is comprised of three galleries and expansive gardens located in historic Sandwich. It includes galleries of American Folk Art, a vintage carousel, automobiles and travelling exhibitions.
Go to a CCBL Game
A Cape Cod Baseball League game is a great experience for the whole family. There are tons of games happening throughout the summer all across the Cape. You could watch your favorite team or visit all of the fields and explore Cape Cod at the same time!
Go Play DeadZone Zombie Tag
If you are on Commercial Street in Provincetown on a Friday or Saturday night this summer you are bound to see groups of people of all ages scurrying around wearing unusual lighted badges; some might be in zombie makeup and all of them will be having fun. They are playing a new active outdoor game called DeadZone Zombie Tag. Check it out!
Kayaking
There are plenty of spots on Cape Cod to get out on the water and enjoy the sights in a kayak. Paddle through small inlets and other hard to reach spots that are otherwise inaccessible.
Bird Watching
Bird watching on Cape Cod is not usually something that comes to mind first when considering an outdoor activity on the Cape. Nevertheless Cape Cod is a perfect spot to go bird watching, with nearly 400 species that either spend a few months on the Cape or live here year-round.
Go Fishing
If you have access to a boat and even if you don’t, there are a lot of great locations close to shore or farther off the coast of Cape Cod to catch a variety fish.
