Comments

  1. How is the Oyster Company in Dennisport not on here? The name in itself speaks volumes and the oysters come right from Crowes Pasture farm that the owner of the restaurant farms himself and brings back to the restaurant the same day. I think that’s really poor research.

    • Gary Mac says

You are so right!! There are places on this list that do not have raw bars!! Amateurs! Oyster Company rules!

    • Karen Salvucci says

I agree and the owner, Greg Burns harvests his own Oysters from his Quivet Neck and owns the South St. Depot restaurant also. His Sashimi Oysters are to die for. Very good Lobster Rolls too. The bartenders make a fantastic Esspreso Martini! They are always so friendly here.

    • Peggie Clen says

The Oyster Company in Dennisport should be at the TOP of this list…

    • Agreed a disgrace the Oyster Company is not on this list!

  2. Katherine Salle says

A list of “Best Oyster Places” that omits The Oyster Company in Dennisport is a really RIDICULOUS list. That is THE place for oysters on Cape Cod. Period.

  3. The Oyster Company is the ONLY place to get oysters on the Cape.

  4. Ray Desrochers says

The Oyster Company is awesome. That being said, it isn’t the ONLY place on the Cape to enjoy oysters on a half shell. One will enjoy any establishment that features Wellfleet oysters.

  5. My faves are Wellfleet Beachcomber, Wellfleet Bookstore, and Mac’s, Wellfleet and Provincetown. Wellfleet oysters are the best! Shucking your own is actually the best from Mac’s seafood market or Hatches in Wellfleet!

  6. How did you miss Epic Oyster in North Falmouth???
