Due to overwhelming response to our most recent article about restaurants open year round, we’ve created a comprehensive list based on your feedback of restaurants to check out regardless of season.  

The restaurants on this list were submitted by our readers and are in no particular order.

Siena, 17 Steeple St, Mashpee

Family friendly Italian restaurant located in the popular Mashpee Commons complex offers traditional favorites and innovative specials. There’s an extensive cocktail menu and several gluten free options. There’s something for everyone at this comfortable eatery.

Old Yarmouth Inn, 223 Route 6A, Yarmouth Port

The Old Yarmouth Inn claims to be the oldest inn on Cape Cod having been established in 1696. It previously served as a welcome stop off as the halfway point between Plymouth and Provincetown. Generations later, people still gather around the cozy fire and trade stories in the historic bar. Don’t miss the fantastic Sunday Brunch Buffet.

Etzy’s Wine Bar & Bistro, 701-707 Main St., Dennis Port

Known on Yelp.com for their dark wood and bright service, Etzy’s is full of warmth and comfort. The 24 beers, colorful cocktails and extensive bar-food menu available keep these customers coming back for more and encourages chatter about their good times on social media and review sites.

Scargo Cafe, 799 Main Street Route 6A, Dennis 

Scargo Cafe recently celebrated its 30th year on Cape Cod. They are devoted to their year round customers by providing a VIP Resident Rewards Club. Members earn points every time they dine with triple points when it snows! 

Land-Ho!, Rt. 6A and Cove Rd., 38 Main St, Orleans and 429 Main St/Route 28, Harwich Port

Land-Ho! is a Cape Cod favorite. With two locations in Harwich Port and Orleans, the extensive bar and good food bring in locals and newcomers year-round. There’s a function room for special events, and with comfort foods like chilli and clam chowder on the menu they’ll keep you warm all winter long. 

Inaho, 157 Rt. 6A, Yarmouth Port

If you’re looking for a sushi fix, look no further than Inaho on YarmouthPort’s quaint main street. Open for dinner year round, Inaho doesn’t just serve up fresh sushi, but also specializes in teriyaki and tempura. The restaurant creates a warm environment with woven mats, shoji screens, a bubbling pond with gold fish, and a small garden. 

Roadhouse Cafe, 488 South St, Hyannis

Roadhouse Cafe has previously been voted “Best Fine Dining on Mid-Cape” The dining room is cozy and romantic with warm woods, antiques, and oriental rugs. There’s also a wood burning fireplace and a piano bar with live music on certain nights. 

Embargo, 453 Main St., Hyannis

Embargo is a lounge and bar offering tempting tapas like tempura fried vegetables with sweet chili aioli and spicy peanut noodles with sweet soy and scallions. DJ’s and live entertainment are regular, and they always have sports on the big screens to keep the party going. Homemade infused Martini’s to “ease the cold” round out a diverse and crowd-pleasing menu.

Four Seasons Trattoria, 1077 MA-28, South Yarmouth

The home-y taste of some of the most revered Italian food in the region is served up year-round at Four Seasons. In the winter, it’s hard to beat a stick-to-your-ribs plate of ravioli Pomodoro or fettuccini carbonara, paired with the perfect white or red wine.

Red Nun, 673 Main St., Dennis Port & 746 Main St., Chatham

The Red Nun Bar & Grill has lots of great burger choices and excellent sports-watching chow. You can get a drink at the bar and enjoy some wings or nachos with a group of friends. There are daily lunch and dinner specials, with sandwiches, seafood and soups included on the menu. They even have an excellent black bean burger for vegetarians.

Chatham Squire, 487 Main St., Chatham

Not only is the Squire open every month of the year, they also have a winter loyalty card program which offers discounts to those who also stick around. Clientele can take part in weekly games of trivia or give their voices a crack at regular karaoke nights. Though they specialize in seafood, they also have special entrees to appeal to most palettes.

Napi’s, 7 Freeman St., Provincetown

One thing all of the restaurants on this list have in common is that they each have dedicated visitors who write wonderful reviews online. Napi’s is no exception, but that’s where the similarities end. While other establishments focus on old-fashioned dark wood to set the mood, this place uses beautiful art and décor. They keep the ball rolling with a diverse, seafood-based menu, with selections like bouillabaisse (seafood stew) with red or Portuguese sauce, tofu Santa Fe with Brazilian black beans and rice and shrimp Santa Fe.

Mom and Pops, 1603 Main St, Chatham

People thought they were a bit nuts when they opened during the winter of 2016, but owner Thomas Deegan felt it was important to establish a customer base with year-round customers first. Mom and Pops is a down home burger joint with an edge located on main street Chatham. 

The Dolphin, 3250 Main St., Barnstable

The final two establishments on this list are for those special nights out this winter. Maybe you’ve got a date, or maybe you’re planning ahead for the holidays. If so, consider The Dolphin if you’re around the Mid-Cape. While known primarily for their surf and turf options, they also make a mean quesadilla – all within an elegant, wood-paneled atmosphere which by itself will warm your spirits.

The Dan’l Webster Inn, 149 Main St., Sandwich

A legendary Cape Cod establishment, the Dan’l Webster Inn is one of the most elegant settings for special occasion dining on Cape Cod, and is considered a holiday dinner tradition by many. The dining room is upscale yet relaxing, featuring a fireplace and multi-period furnishings. Though the menu is primarily old school New England surf and turf, eaters of all kinds (including vegetarians, vegans and GF folks) are offered thoughtful, delicious options.

Alberto’s, 360 Main St, Hyannis, MA

Alberto’s Ristorante was established in 1984 and has been staple for Cape Codders looking for great Italian food. Alberto’s prepares all it’s meals with fresh ingredients with everything being done in-house from the soups to the desserts.

Olivers & Planck’s Tavern, 960 Main St, Yarmouth Port, MA

Olivers and Panck’s Tavern is a local-seafood-heavy menu served in a marine-themed dining room & adjacent tavern with many taps.  Worth a look if you’re looking for a good meal in Yarmouth Port. 

Morrell’s Restaurant & Catering, 430 MA-134, South Dennis, MA

A fantastic, laid-back, family-owned bar/eatery offering locally sourced seafood meals along with daily specials.  Worth going to if you’re in South Dennis.

Jake Rooney’s, 119 Brooks Rd, Harwich Port, MA

A comfortable fixture with wood bar & fireplace known for entrees served on heated stone & live music.  Who hasn’t been to Jake Rooney’s?

Jason’s Tavern, 500 MA-134, South Dennis, MA

Jason’s burgers were voted as one of the best of 2017.  They have something for everyone.  From burgers to salads and beyond, check them out in South Dennis.

Fanizzi’s Restaurant, 539 Commercial St, Provincetown, MA

Fanizzi’s is a locals’ joint, known for expansive Cape Cod Bay views.  They serve Italian & American seafood with a casual vibe.

Tomatoes Italian Bar & Grill, 280 MA-130, Sandwich, MA

Tomatoes Italian Bar & Grill is a great local Italian offering a mix of Northern Italian & Sicilian recipes, plus a full bar & wine list.

The Mews Restaurant & Cafe, 429 Commercial St, Provincetown, MA

The Mews Restaurant and Cage is an American eatery with water views, an upstairs cafe & a huge vodka collection with a neon-lit bar.  

Montano’s Restaurant, 481 US-6, North Truro, MA

Montano’s in Truro is a long-established eatery & bar on the bay with a menu of traditional Italian cooking & local seafood.  

Chapoquoit Grill, 410 W Falmouth Hwy, Falmouth, MA

Did someone say Pizza? Wood-fired pizzas & Mediterranean staples are served up at this easygoing neighborhood restaurant in Falmouth. 

C*Shore Kitchen & Bar, 554 State Hwy Rte 6, Wellfleet, MA

C*Shore serves farm-to-table and dock-to-table fare from a full-service kitchen and bar. Breakfast and dinner are served daily.

The Marshside, 28 Bridge St, East Dennis, MA

A casual American-seafood spot with huge windows offering sweeping views of the marshes in Dennis.  A fun spot for everyone from couples to families. 

The Talkative Pig, 2642 Main St, South Chatham, MA

The Talkative Pig serves Mediterranean-inspired dishes made from fresh ingredients and traditional family recipes. Each menu item is crafted carefully by hand at the restaurant. 

The Canteen, 225 Commercial St, Provincetown, MA

A counter-serve, beach-themed nook in a historic building in Provincetown with communal seating & casual seafood eats.

Captain Parker’s Pub, 668 MA-28, West Yarmouth, MA

A long-standing hangout lures locals with hearty New England fare & clam chowder, plus a bustling bar.  Who hasn’t been to Captain Parker’s?

Local Break Restaurant and Bar, 4550 State Hwy, Eastham, MA

A hidden gem on the Cape, Local Break offers some of the best burgers around.  When you think of Local Break, think locally sourced pub fare meets craft brews in a bright, understated space with a big bar.

Fairway Restaurant & Pizzeria, 4295 State Hwy, Eastham, MA

Did someone say donuts?  This no-frills stalwart famed for donuts & breakfast fare also serves Italian & American eats at night.

Sam Diego’s, 950 Iyannough Rd, Hyannis, MA 

Celebrating their 35th year of Tex/Mex cuisine. Not a fan of Mexican food? Go and try their BBQ ribs, Dave Read’s favorite! Their Plymouth restaurant is set in a brick firehouse!

Barbyann’s Restaurant, 120 Airport Rd, Hyannis, MA

Check out this easygoing eatery featuring classic staples such as prime rub, shrimp and lobster.  Located in Hyannis near the airport, Barbyann’s is worth a look.

Mac’s Fish House, 85 Shank Painter Rd, Provincetown, MA 

Sushi anyone?  Check out this seafood join with a spacious patio.  They serve everything from sushi and shellfish to chicken wings and burgers.  Worth a look if you’re in Provincetown.

Ciro & Sal’s, 4 Kiley Ct, Provincetown, MA

Another spot to check out in Provincetown is Ciro & Sal’s.  Incredible northern Italian food in an intimate setting makes eating here an unique experience. 

DiParma, 175 MA-28, West Yarmouth, MA

Italian favorites at budget friendly prices. Hot rolls, made with fresh pizza dough, come from oven to table. All you can eat tossed salad free with every meal. Plan on leftovers! Affordable wine list.

Ricciardelli’s, 575 Main St, Hyannis, MA

The menu at Ricciardelli’s reflects the flavors from their family’s kitchen.  They offer an extensive Italian wine selection as well as craft beers.  

Encore Bistro and Bar, 36 Hope Ln, Dennis, MA

Encore Bistro and Bar serves meat & seafood dishes in a quaint ambiance with a patio.  

KKatie’s Burger Bar, 334 Main St, Hyannis, MA

Who wants a burger?  With locations in Plymouth, Quincy, Marshfield and Hyannis, a mouth watering burger is likely only a quick car ride away.  

Fishermen’s View Seafood Market & Restaurant, 20 Freezer Rd, Sandwich, MA 

Who wants a gorgeous waterfront view while dining?   Enjoy the raw bar and the shrimp and oysters or go for lobster.  There is something for everyone at this Sandwich restaurant.

Lost Dog Pub, Orleans and East Dennis, MA 

The Lost Dog Pub serves traditional pub food and pizza through midnight.  Brick oven pizza, burgers, fresh seafood and shellfish are just a few of the items on the menu here.  

Oysters Too, 876 E Falmouth Hwy, East Falmouth, MA

Stop driving by!  Oysters Too is a staple in East Falmouth featuring delicious food by the fireplace.  Worth a look!

Bleu, 10 Market St, Mashpee, MA

An upscale yet warm French eatery pairs innovative spins on bistro classics with a curated wine list.    Located in Mashpee Commons, might as well get some shopping done before you grab a bite to eat.

Rock Harbor Grill, 18 Old Colony Way, Orleans, MA

Nestled just off Main Street in Orleans, the Rock Harbor Grill is a staple of local Cape Codders.  From wood fired pizzas to delicious burgers, Rock Harbor Grill has it all

Liam Maguire’s Irish Pub, 273 Main St, Falmouth, MA

For over 20 years, Liam Macguire’s has been a top spot for Irish music and creative cuisine.  Check out their impressive line of draft beers with your meal.

Silver Lounge Restaurant, 412 MA-28A, North Falmouth, MA

The Silver Lounger Restaurant has been serving delicious seafood, steaks and sandwiches since 1938.  This restaurant is popular with Cape Cod locals and tourists alike.

Villaggio Ristorante, 4631 Falmouth Rd, Cotuit, MA

Villaggio Ristorante features authentic Italian food, prepped by a chef that goes back four generations.  

Wimpy’s, 752 Main St, Osterville, MA

A comfy mid-Cape tradition for over 75 years that’s surprisingly affordable in this otherwise pricey Cape village. Early bird specials come with soup or salad and a dessert. Watch for good lobster specials during the off season. Lunch and dinner daily. They also do a huge take-out business at very affordable prices. Call in your order.

Yarmouth House, 335 MA-28, West Yarmouth, MA

Another dependable Cape classic, known for the prime rib and seafood. Don’t miss their amazing white lights all over the interior at Christmas time!

Red Face Jack’s, 585 Main St, West Yarmouth, MA

Watch your favorite sports teams while enjoying hand crafted dishes. The selection of wide selection of burgers, pastas, wings and salads means that there is something for everyone.

Hot Stove Saloon, 551 MA-28 #4, Harwich Port, MA

The friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere make the Hot Stove Saloon a great place to watch a game or meet up with some friends. 

Yardarm Restaurant, 48 S Orleans Rd, Orleans, MA

The Yardarm has around since 1972 and been a staple for people living and visiting Orleans.  With daily specials and a comfortable atmosphere, Yardarm is a worthwhile stop.

The Nauset Beach Club Restaurant, 222 Main St, Orleans, MA

Situated a few miles from Nauset Beach, the Nauset Beach Club Restaurant specializes in Italian cuisine.  Why not head to the beach and later in the day the Nauset Beach Club Restaurant?

Royal II Restaurant and Grill, 715 MA-6A, Yarmouth Port, MA

The Royal II was opened in 2013 and features cuisine the Mediterranean to Italian and American.  With a comfortable lounge and a full service bar, the Royal II is a restaurant to checkout in Yarmouth Port. 

Bear in Boots, 285 Main St, Falmouth, MA 

Located on Main St. in Falmouth is Bear in Boots.  Check out their “Treats from the Kitcken” section of the menu.  While you’re at it, couple your meal with a beer or wine. With an extensive and carefully curated craft beer and wine list,  you’ll be certain to find the exact beverage you are looking for.

Beacon Room, 23 West Rd, Orleans, MA

Open seven days a week, the Beacon Room offers a wide selection of wines coupled with everything from seafood to steak.  

Riverway Lobster House, 1338 MA-28, South Yarmouth, MA

Yes, they have lobster but all kinds of good food, including one of the best French Onion soups in the area! Try their “hash & cream” potatos! Dave Read of Ocean 104.7 often gets their tender pot roast!

Pain D’Avignon Cafe Boulangerie, 15 Hinckley Rd, Hyannis, MA

You may know Pain D’Avignon for their breads, but did you know that they have a full restaurant as well?  If you’re in Hyannis, check them out near the Barnstable Airport.

Buncey’s Restaurant, 894 MA-134, South Dennis, MA

First opening in 2004, Buncey’s has been a local favorite for Cape Codders.  From pizza to subs and salads, Buncey’s has something for everything.

O’Shea’s Olde Inne, 348 Main St, West Dennis, MA

Who wants a pint of Guinness?  O’Shea’s Olde Inne not only has a great selection of beer, but a fun and cozy atmosphere.  With a roaring fireplace and live music, you’re sure to have a great time and enjoy your meal at the same time.

Pizza Barbone,  390 Main St, Hyannis, MA

Did someone say pizza?  Pizza Barbone has been crafting Neapolitan wood fired pizzas since the spring of 2010.  Located conveniently in Hyannis, stop in for pizza or get one to go.

Del Mar Bar & Bistro, 907 Main St, Chatham, MA 

Located on Main Street in Chatham, Del Mar Bar & Bistro is a fun nightspot for eating, drinking and socializing.   From wood-fired pizzas to native seafood and more, Deal Mar Bar & Bistro is sure to have something for everyone.

Pie in the Sky Bakery & Cafe, 10 Water St, Woods Hole, MA 

Before you make that trip out of Woods Hole to the Vineyard, you may way to stop at Pie in the Sky Bakery & Cafe.  Homemade croissants, pies cookies and more, they can start your day off right.  

Jack’s Lounge, 373 W Main St, Hyannis, MA

Located across the street from Hyannis Country Garden, Jack’s Lounge has been a staple for locals for years.  This easygoing pizza parlor and bar also offers ribs, burgers and more.

Clancy’s Restaurant, 8 Upper County Rd, Dennis Port, MA

Open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner, Clancy’s is a must try in Dennis Port.  From casual family dining to upscale social events, Clancy’s has you covered.

Hearth N’ Kettle – Hyannis and Yarmouth, MA

If you’ve ever stayed at the Cape Codder, then you know of the Hearth N’ Kettle.  Offering breakfast, lunch and dinner, the Hearth N’ Kettle has something for everyone. 

Hole in One, Eastham and Orleans, MA

Umm… hand crafted donuts anyone?  The Hole in One Donut Shop specializes in hand-cut donuts that are out of this world.  But don’t just try the donuts, stay breakfast too!

Olive Garden Italian Restaurant, 1095 Iyannough Rd, Hyannis, MA

The Olive Garden in Hyannis is a staple for tourists and locals alike.  This retail chain has everything you’re accustomed to for Italian food.

The Jailhouse Tavern, 28 West Rd, Orleans, MA

Crisp Flatbread Inc, 791 Main St, Osterville, MA

If you like to eat organic, you may want to try Crisp.  When possible, Crisp uses nitrate-free meats and organic vegetables.  The food is really good too!

Lobster Trap Restaurant, 290 Shore Rd, Bourne, MA

Founded in 1969, this classic New England seafood shack is a perfect spot to stop when you’re coming over the bridge. 

Chatham Fish & Lobster Co,  1291 Main St, Chatham, MA

Located on Main Street in West Chatham, Chatham Fish & Lobster has been a Cape Cod tradition for many years.  Come in and enjoy a full meal, or just grab some seafood to prepare at home.

Water Street Kitchen, 56 Water St, Woods Hole, MA

Did someone say water front views?  If you’re heading over to the Vineyard, swing by the Water Street Kitchen for a meal before you get on the boat. 

Paradise Pizza, 74 School St, West Dennis, MA 

Nestled in West Dennis, Paradise Pizza has been delighting customers since 1976.   The pizza menu is extensive and incredibly good.  You may want to try more than one!

Five Bays Bistro,  825 Main St, Osterville, MA 

Located on Main Street in Osterville, Five Bays Bistro offers modern yet classic food with an atmosphere that you’d find in major cities across the country.  Swing by and try it yourself!

Cleat & Anchor, 243 Lower County Rd, Dennis Port, MA

An American style restaurant and tavern with modern twists that maintain a classic New England fare.  

Red Pheasant Inn, 905 Main St, Dennis, MA

Romantic gourmet cuisine for 40 years in a 200 year old barn with 2 real fireplaces and original wide pine floors. (May close for a month in winter but open the rest of the year. Check website: www.redpheasantinn.com). Many of the herbs used in their dishes are grown in their garden, visible  from the windows while you dine.

Trevi Cafe and Wine Bar, 25 Market St, Mashpee, MA

Trevi Cafe and Wine Bar serves a Mediterranean fare and features a famous Roman fountain replica.  While at Mashpee Commons, why not try them out?

Gerardi’s Cafe, 902 MA-28, South Yarmouth, MA

Around for 17 years, Gerardi’s Cafe creates a complete experience for your dining experience.  The servers will help custom craft a dish or guide you to the right wine pairing.  

Karoo Restaurant, 3 Main St #32b, Eastham, MA

Karoo’s menu features dishes inspired by European, African and Indian flavors.  Take a look at this restaurant next time you’re out and about in Eastham.

Buckies Biscotti & Bakery Cafe, 681 Main St, Dennis Port, MA 

Breakfast, Lunch and Bakery… Yum!  From eggs and sandwiches to custom cakes and breads, Buckies is worth a look in Dennis Port.

Brax Landing Restaurant, 705 MA-28, Harwich Port, MA

This rustic restaurant serves seafood standards & boasts a harbor view from the outdoor deck.

Coonamessett Inn, 311 Gifford St, Falmouth, MA 02540

A dependable Cape classic which hosts many weddings and special events. An all American menu that appeals to all tastes.

Grumpy’s, 1408 Main St, East Dennis, MA 

A breakfast and lunch stalwart for decades. Big portions! Try their homemade corned beef hash! It’s not too salty. Huge blackboard specials daily.

Captain Linnell House, 137 Skaket Beach Rd, Orleans, MA

One of the finest restaurants to be found anywhere, not just on the Cape. Set in an historic sea captain’s home near the harbor in Orleans, it just does not get any more romantic than here! 

Moonakis Cafe, 460 Waquoit Highway (Route 28), East Falmouth, MA

Breakfast and lunch 7 days a week(no lunch on Sundays). Known for the lightest blueberry pancakes ever, homemade hash and unusual omelette offerings. Expect a line here on weekends! Cash only. Winner of “Best Breakfast in the Upper Cape” for the past several years. (Say “MOON a kiss”)

Holly Ridge Golf Club, 121 Country Club Rd, Sandwich, MA

A hidden gem open to the public with very affordable prices. Locals in the know, know about their fresh local seafood and their huge Angus burgers which are half price (just $6) all day Saturday! Cheap drinks, too. Nice view of their public golf course while you enjoy your meal. They won an award last year for the “Best Sandwich in Sandwich” which you can try when you visit… a special B-L-T with avocado. Many say their light and crispy onion rings are the best on the Cape. Homemade potato chips, too! During the summer months, they offer a great prime rib dinner for $18 on Friday evenings, plus a huge Fisherman’s Platter that feeds two hungry people easily!
