Percy the pig looking for a perfect place!
This handsome pig is a sweet, but sensitive, boy. He is looking for a quiet home with someone who is familiar with potbelly pigs. Although he’s shy when he meets new people, he will quickly become your best friend if you offer him some back scratches and maybe some grape tomatoes!
Percy is in the process of losing some extra weight, and is looking for someone who can help him stick to his diet and get more exercise. Like most pigs, he is very smart and quick to learn, but can get bored if he’s not getting enough attention or given things to occupy his time. You can most often find him snuggled up on or under his pile of blankets, waiting for a willing piggy scratch giver. He was used to sleeping cuddled up with the pugs with his last family.
He was very clean in the home – he used a litterbox, but here he goes outside to do his business and always keeps his kennel nice and clean. In his previous home, Percy was indoors only. He is currently learning about walking on a harness. He has discovered the fun of going outside to root around and play in the sun. Aside from eventual outings on a harness, he’d enjoy a nice fenced yard to go and explore, and of course root up the grass to find any goodies underneath.
