Where to Enjoy Safe Trick or Treating on the Cape

 

Have kids? Looking for a safe place to head out and gather some candy on Halloween? These four locations are a safe bet for having a good time on Halloween on Cape Cod. These locations are in very public places and or near reputable establishments and organizations as well as nice neighborhoods.

1. Main Street Hyannis

Hyannis Main Street Business Improvement District

On Oct 31st, from 4pm – 6pm businesses all along Hyannis main street will be participating in their yearly safe trick or treating event in which they will open up their doors to any trick or treaters willing to step inside for some candy

2. Trick or Treat Stroll

Falmouth Main Street

Participating businesses will be opening their doors to trick on treaters on October 28th on Falmouth main street. In addition to trick or treating there will be a Halloween parade the same day starting at 1pm on the Village Green.

4. 3nd Annual Sandwich Police Department’s Trunk-or-Treat

Heritage Museums & Gardens, Sandwich

On Saturday, October 28th from 2:30pm – 4:30pm police officers will be handing candy out of the back of their police cruisers. The event is free, however donations of new unwrapped toys are encouraged for Toys for Tots. 

5. Halloween Family Fun Night 

Heritage Museums and Gardens, Sandwich 

October 28th from 5pm – 7pm, kids can enjoy hay rides, games, carousel rides, as well as have fun exploring. This non-scary event is designed for all ages.

6. Green Halloween 2017 

Cape Cod Natural History Museum, Brwester

From 10am – 2pm on October 28, the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History features games and journeys on the treat trail.  Arts, crafts and the Honeybee Jamboree also are featured. Wear a costume and be a part of the fun! 

7. Cape Cod Mall Trick or Treating 

Cape Cod Mall, Hyannis

On October 31st, kids are encouraged to come in costume and participate in mall wide trick or treating from 3 – 5pm. 

8. Barnstable Village Halloween Stroll 

County Courthouse Complex Rt 6A Barnstable Village 

On October 28th, The Barnstable Village Association looks forward to enjoying their community, young and old, celebrating their creativity, individuality and community spirit. Meet at the County Courthouse Complex at 4:30pm. 

9. Not-So-Scary Halloween 

Barnstable Intermediate School Cafeteria 

From 11am – 1pm on October 28th, trick or treaters can enjoy carnival games, craft tables, and a magic show!
