Will You Help Achilles and Hercules Find a Good Home?

Meet Achilles & Hercules!

These two gentlemen are a bonded pair looking for a home together! Achilles is a 12 year old westie, and Hercules is a 7 year old long coated chihuahua. They have lived together for many years, and they love to sleep together. When the boys go out for walks, Hercules is very attentive to watching Achilles and will follow right behind him like a shadow. Both Achilles & Hercules are well behaved on the leash. They get along with other dogs. They’ll let you know if someone comes to the door. Achilles is the more confident of the pair, and will be the first to go sniff a newcomer. Hercules will take a moment, but once he has seen that Achilles has greeted he will follow along. Aside from leisurely walks, Achilles & Hercules are couch potatoes. They aren’t particularly interested in toys. Hercules and Achilles are looking for a home with teens and up. Hercules is sensitive about being handled, and Achilles prefers not to share tasty chews that he may be enjoying. These gentlemen are starting to show their age – Achilles has some stiff joints and elevated liver enzymes, and Hercules has been allowed to become rather obese. He’ll have more pep with a slimmer figure.
