Hey there – I’m Damon! No, not the former Red Sox outfielder Johnny Damon. Although I am also a great ball-player, I prefer tennis balls to baseballs. You throw ’em, I chase ’em! I’m a big, energetic boy who loves to play. . . and loves to cuddle as well. No matter the activity, you can see that am enjoying it by my big smile and total body wiggles! At four years of age, I have plenty of energy and I am STRONG. While waiting here at the shelter for my new family (hurry up, already!), I have been participating in obedience classes. I can already do great sits and downs. To help me keep learning my doggie manners, the cost of Beginner’s Obedience has been included in my adoption fee. That will enable me to become an excellent family member, and help me work on my pulling! Given my rollicking play style, my family could include older, sturdy kids, but not little ones, as I might bump into them while playing. I might be able to live with another dog if we met first and got along. Not sure about kitties – please check with the staff if you have one. So stock up on the tennis balls, and let’s PLAY BALL!
