HYANNIS – The Hyannis Athletic Association will hold a dedication ceremony for the baseball field at McKeon Park tonight in honor of the former President of the Cape Cod Baseball League.
The field will be named after Judy Walden Scarafile, who served the Cape League in various capacities for over 45 years, including 24 as president. She retired from the position after the 2015 season.
The event will also announce plans for a capital improvement project at the park. Current Red Sox all-star outfielder Jackie Bradley Jr., who played for the Hyannis Mets in 2009, will be the honorary chairman of the project.
The dedication will be at 4:30 p.m.
