2017 Buzzards Bay Coalition Golf Outing Scheduled for October 16

BUZZARDS BAY – The 2017 Buzzards Bay Coalition Golf Outing is scheduled to take place on Monday, October 16^th at The Bay Club in Mattapoisett.

The golf outing once again offers participants a chance to play at the beautiful Bay Club, a certified Silver Audubon Signature Sanctuary.

Participation supports clean water in Buzzards Bay and the ongoing cleanup of nitrogen pollution in New Bedford Harbor.

The outing begins with practice at 10 a.m. and shotgun start at noon for all golfers.

Foursomes at the golf outing will play a tournament with awards, prizes, and a putting contest with the chance to win $5,000.

Registration for the event includes 18 holes of golf, greens fees, cart rental, beverages and snacks, buffet lunch and an after-party reception at the Golf House Restaurant.

The reception will include cocktails, light fare, silent auction and awards and prizes.
