BUZZARDS BAY – The 25th anniversary Buzzards Bay Swim will happen on June 30th, with all the money going to the Buzzard Bay Coalition.
The first event one had 17 swimmers and raised $2,000. It now draws over 350 swimmers and has raised over $1 million to clean and protect the bay.
It will take place in New Bedford and feature an open-water course and a large beach party.
The cost is $25 with a fundraising minimum of $150. For more information, visit savebuzzardsbay.org.
