28th Annual Robert F. Kennedy Golf Tournament Held in Hyannis Port

HYANNIS PORT – Celebrities, former professional athletes and local dignitaries gathered at the Hyannis Port Golf Club on Friday for the 28th Annual Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Golf Tournament.

The event raised money for RFK Human Rights, an organization which campaigns for human rights in 28 countries, including the United States.

“We have to really rally around those who we believe in and who are fighting for our rights and try to fight against those who are not,” said Kerry Kennedy.

It was formed to honor Robert F. Kennedy following his assassination in 1968.

His widow, Ethel Kennedy, was joined by actor Matt McCoy, Director Bobby Farrelly, former Celtic John Havelicek and former Red Sox Sam Horn and Jim Lambert at the tournament.

“This is the most beautiful course, it’s a jewel,” said Kennedy.
