Compass of Hope Gala to Honor Cancer Fighters

Colleen and Bob Kohl, of the Glenna Kohl Fund for Hope, will be honored Saturday at the American Cancer Society’s Compass of Hope Gala.

OSTERVILLE – The 16th annual Compass of Hope Gala Saturday in Osterville will honor three Cape Codders who have made a difference in the fight against cancer.

The American Cancer Society will recognize the work of Cape Cod Healthcare’s Radiation Oncology Chief Daniel Canaday, MD, and Colleen and Bob Kohl, of the Glenna Kohl Fund for Hope.

The event brings together more than 200 Cape residents to honor those who have been affected by cancer and to spread the word about prevention and detection, along with raising money to fund research for treatments and cures and support programs and services.

The gala is at the Oyster Harbors Club at 5 p.m.
