BOSTON – Three Cape and Islands organizations which work to provide housing related services have received awards through the state’s Community Investment Tax Credit program.
Housing Assistance Corporation, Housing Nantucket and Island Housing Trust on Martha’s Vineyard each received $150,000 in tax credit allocations to help increase fundraising efforts and expand services.
The Baker-Polito Administration awarded a total of $5.9 million to 46 organizations.
“Community Development Corporations undertake important work in our communities by supporting affordable housing, community development and critical services for residents,” said Governor Charlie Baker.
“We are proud to work with these organizations to ensure all Massachusetts residents have access to affordable housing and safe neighborhoods.”
