WESTPORT, Mass. (AP) — Massachusetts State Police say three people have died in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 195 in Westport.
Police say a preliminary investigation found that an eastbound livery vehicle crossed the median just after 8 a.m. Wednesday and hit a westbound vehicle head-on.
Two people in the livery vehicle died. One occupant of the other vehicle also died.
No names were immediately released.
The eastbound side of I-195 was closed, and the left lane of the westbound side was closed during the investigation.
