HYANNIS – The 32nd annual Citizens Bank Pops by the Sea concert will be held on Sunday on the Hyannis Village Green.

Dr. Greg Skomal with the state Division of Marine Fisheries will be the guest conductor.

Skomal will join Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra in a show that celebrates Cape Cod and the music of film composer John Williams.

Coinciding with Williams’ 85th birthday, the concert will perform scores from “Harry Potter”, “Star Wars” and “Jaws”.

“It’s such a tradition that people just come every year and get really excited about it,” said Arts Foundation of Cape Cod Executive Director Julie Wake.

The concert begins at 5 p.m. with pre-show festivities scheduled to start at 1 p.m.

This year’s opening acts include the Wicked Trio Plus, a jazz and blues group, local vocalist Chantal Joseph, the Cape Youth Orchestra’s “Brass, Saxes, and Drums” ensemble, and singer-songwriter Jordan Renzi, a 2017 Arts Foundation of Cape Cod Fellowship Recipient.

The annual concert is the largest fundraiser for the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod.

“We use that funding for so many things that are related to the arts, like grant-making, scholarships and fellowships,” said Wake.

Tickets are available online at www.popsbythesea.org.
