Activists to Host Climate Event in Falmouth

FALMOUTH – On Saturday September 8^th, thousands of rallies will be held in cities and towns around the world to call attention to climate change.

Here on Cape, ‘350 Cape Cod’ will host an event at Surf Drive Beach in Falmouth for short speeches from local global warming opponents.

Before things wrap up, attendees will be invited to lay down in the sand, spelling S.O.S. so that an aerial camera can record from above.

The event will be held at Surf Drive Beach beginning at 10 am.
