Cape Kid Meals Gets Grant From Culinary Group

MASHPEE – The American Culinary Federation of Cape Cod raised $4,200 at their 2019 holiday party this week for Cape Kid Meals.

Cape Kid Meals is a nonprofit organization that provides food on the weekends to children dependent on free breakfast and lunch programs at schools.

The goal of the organization is to create a program at all Cape-based elementary schools.

The raffle at the party raised over $2,100, which was matched by William and Linda Zammer, owners of the Cape Cod Restaurant Group.

The formal presentation of the check will take place at the ACF Cape Cod’s meeting at The Lobster Trap in Bourne on January 6.
