OSTERVILLE – Today is a busy one for Gail Nightingale. The 45th Annual Christmas Open House and Stroll is one of the village’s biggest events of the year.
Nightingale is chair of the Steering Committee of the Osterville Business and Professional Association and member of the boards of the Osterville Village Association and the Osterville Public Library and a business owner on Main Street, Osterville.
“It’s an appreciation night for our customers,” Nightingale said.
There are activities throughout the day today but the main events begin at 5 o’clock tonight.
There are trolley rides and horse-drawn carriage rides, as well as musicians performing along Main Street in the center of the village.
The ecumenical creche service takes place on the steps of the Osterville Baptist Church from 6 to 6:30 p.m.
There are open houses, raffles and refreshments at numerous businesses in the village.
