Cape Cod Community College Students Honored at State House

WEST BARNSTABLE – Two Cape Cod Community College Students were honored last week at the State House.

Phi Theta Kappa All-Massachusetts Academic Team members Ethan Anderson, of Marion, and Emma Comp, of Marstons Mills, were honored for being two of the highest academic achievers within the state’s community college system.

Anderson and Comp were two of the 34 students presented with medallions and certificates.

Cape Cod Community College President John Cox was unable to attend the ceremony, but praised both students for their achievements and leadership.

“Each of these individuals has demonstrated their commitment to both academic excellence, and personal growth and leadership, foundational elements of Phi Theta Kappa,” Cox said. “We are extremely proud of their accomplishments, and look ahead to future achievements from both.”
