WEST BARNSTABLE – Cape Cod Community College’s Center for Corporate and Professional Education is looking to help small businesses grow their presence online with a pair of workshops.
“Get Your Business Online” and “Sharing Your Story Through Video” will be held March 13 in the Tilden Arts Studio Theater from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
The Google program empowers communities to support local businesses and encourage them to get on the map.
“Four out of five consumers use search engines to find local information nearby, yet only 37 percent of businesses have claimed their listing on a search engine,” said Emily Harris, manager of Google’s Get Your Business Online program. “Small businesses are the engine of local economies and when they flourish, their communities do as well.”
