4Cs to Host Ribbon Cutting for Funeral Service Program

BRIDGEWATER – Cape Cod Community College will host a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house this afternoon for the institution’s Funeral Service learning facilities at Bridgewater State University’s main campus.

The event is at 1 p.m. at the school’s Burnell Hall and will be followed by a pinning ceremony for Mount Ida College students who are graduating from the 4Cs Funeral Service teach-out program.

Cape Cod Community College received state approval in July to carry on Mount Ida College’s Funeral Service program after Mount Ida’s abrupt closure in May.

CCCC partnered with BSU to lease space, providing the students with a central location and access to BSU’s on-campus services, including residency.
