5 Arrested After East Falmouth Drug Search

Falmouth Police CrestEAST FALMOUTH – Five people were arrested after an East Falmouth home was searched for drugs this morning.

Officers from Falmouth, Mashpee, the Barnstable County Sheriff’s office, and the Cape and Islands Drug Task Force say they found heroin, prescription drugs, and crack cocaine at 132 Homestead Lane. A search warrant was executed at the home around 5:30 am.

Police say eight people were home at the time, including a small child. The Department of Children and Families has been contacted and additional charges could follow.

Gerald Carzoza, 33, was taken into custody and charged with heroin possession with intent to distribute and possession of Fentanyl with intent to distribute.

Warren Antone, 29, Rocco Gomes, 26, and Kyle Geggatt, 23, were arrested for knowingly being present where heroin is kept.

Sean DeSouza, 20, faces charges of crack cocaine distribution and knowingly being present where heroin is kept.

Falmouth police say they have received numerous complaints from residents about drug activity at the home. A search warrant was conducted at the home last August in connection with a narcotics investigation.
