HYANNIS- The 56th annual Cape Cod Community College Commencement will take place Thursday at the Cape Cod Melody Tent with over 500 students taking the next step into adulthood.
The program will include a processional by the Highland Light Scottish Pipe Band, a presentation of the colors by the Combined Forces of the Color Guard and speeches by college president John Cox, and commencement speaker Tim Kelley.
Kelley, a 1984 Alum of 4 C’s, currently is an on-air meteorologist with NECN/NBC 10 Boston.
Also being highlighted at this year’s event are Alumni of The Year recipients Jitka Borowick, who serves as chair of the board for Flower Angels USA, and president-elect for the Rotary Club of Hyannis, and Ralph Cahoon III, who serves as a consultant to the Barnstable Police Department, and is a member of the Cape and Islands Critical Incident Stress Team.
