ORLEANS – A 911 dispatcher and a caller helped to save the life of a customer at the One-Stop Oil Change shop on Cranberry Highway in Orleans this morning.
According to Barnstable County Sheriff Jim Cummings, the customer suffered a seizure and went into cardiac arrest.
The dispatcher at the sheriff’s communications center talked the caller and a bystander through CPR and got the victim breathing again.
Orleans fire and rescue crews arrived and took over care while taking the patient to Cape Cod Hospital.
