911 Memorial to be erected in Yarmouth

YARMOUTH – A twisted three-foot section of solid I beam that was recovered from the World Trade Center in New York after the September 11 attacks in 2001 will be part of the Yarmouth 911 Memorial.

The memorial will be built on a section of wooded land in West Yarmouth.

A fundraiser planned for the project will take place next Saturday at the Hampton Inn in West Yarmouth and costs $25.
