CHATHAM – Moviegoers at the Chatham Orpheum Theater will see public service announcements for affordable housing shown before movies.
The town’s affordable housing committee has created three public service announcements that will also be available to view on the town website.
Three residents, Tim Wood, Caitlin Gallagher and Echo Karras, serve as the faces of affordable housing in the ads, which highlight housing facts like the fact that a 20 percent down payment for a home in Chatham is $105,000 and more than 500 of the town’s 3,000 residents make less than $35,000 a year.
All three live in different affordable neighborhoods in town with their families.
The committee is looking for feedback from selectmen and the public and are planning additional videos.
