COTUIT – The Cotuit Center for the Arts will present “The Quiet Man” as part of their 2nd Wednesday Theater series on March 14. Itwill featurea staged reading of the screenplay for John Ford’s acclaimed classic. The movie starred John Wayne and Maureen O’Hara.

The story follows a boxer who, after accidentally killing an opponent in the ring, leaves America and returns to his native Ireland, hoping buy his family’s homestead and live in the peace and that paradise his Mother had told him about.
