Alleged Jewelry Thief Due in Court

gavelORLEANS – A man formerly of Hyannis is due back in court October 9th to face receiving stolen property charges and for a pretrial hearing.

Joseph Cloutier was arrested after he allegedly robbed a home in East Orleans where he was working.

A significant amount of jewelry was stolen from the home and later found at a Fall River pawn shop.

Police are still investigating the crime and Cloutier, who is not cooperating with police, remains free on bail.

He was arraigned last Thursday in Orleans District Court.
