An Evening with Robert Finch: Fifty Years of Exploring the Beauty and Mystery of Cape Cod

W.BARNSTABLE- The Association to Preserve Cape Cod is set to host acclaimed author, essayist and radio commentator, Robert Finch during their ‘Fifty Years of Exploring the Beauty and Mystery of Cape Cod’ event this month.

Finch is recognized as one of America’s leading nature writers and has published seven books of essays, penned numerous articles, and currently serves as the co-editor of The Norton Book of Nature Writing.

In addition, Finch’s weekly public radio commentaries have earned him two Edward R. Murrow Awards for radio writing.

Most recently, he was named a recipient of a John Simon Guggenheim Fellowship for 2018.

The talk will take place on July 19th at 7 p.m. at the 1717 Meetinghouse in West Barnstable. Tickets are set at $10 cash at the door.

Copies of Finch’s books will be available for sale and signing at the event, and proceeds will go to benefit the APCC, as well as the 1717 Meetinghouse Foundation.
