Annual Blessing of the Bikes Returns to West Dennis Beach in May

WEST DENNIS – Hundreds of motorcycles will descend upon West Dennis Beach next month for the 42^nd annual Blessing of the Bikes.

The Cape Cod & Islands Chapter of the Blue Knights International Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club hosts the fundraising event to benefit the organization’s charitable contributions.

The event is May 6. Gates open at 9:30 a.m. and bikes must be registered and parked by 11:45 a.m. with the blessing beginning at noon. The minimum suggested donation is $5.

More than 2,000 people are expected to attend the blessing. In years past, up to 1,500 motorcycles are driven from all over New England to participate.
