ORLEANS – The Annual Martin Luther King Breakfast, at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Orleans, will feature a panel of three who will engage in discussion.
These are Cape and Islands Senator Julian Cyr, Orleans Police Chief Scott MacDonald and immigrant attorney Rita Resende. The topic will be “Immigration Through the Lens of Race and Class.
Cyr is a co-sponsor of The Safe Communities Act.
There will be drum performances at the beginning and ending as well as a sing-a-long of songs that fit the occasion.
It will take place on the January 15th, Martin Luther King Day, from 8:30 to 10:30.
