Annual State of Wellfleet Harbor Conference Set for November

WELLFLEET – The Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary is inviting the public to the annual State of Wellfleet Harbor Conference in November.

Find out what researchers have learned about seasonal diets of Cape Cod Seals, or how fall sea turtle strandings are supporting science.

Another portion of the conference, titled ‘Where is the Sand Going and How Does it Get There’ focuses on the science of sediment budgets and how to properly manage them.

The sanctuary will also discuss the upcoming steps in the Wellfleet Wastewater Management Plan.

Wellfleet’s Shellfish Constable also plans to reflect on her first year on the job.

The program is free and open to all of the public on Saturday, November 3 at the Wellfleet Elementary School from 8:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
