PLYMOUTH – The Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station siren system will undergo its annual test next week.

Plant officials announced that they will be setting off the alarms in the 10-mile Emergency Planning Zone on Thursday afternoon at 3:45.

113 sirens are located in Plymouth, Carver, Kingston, Marshfield, and Duxbury.

As in years past, there will be an announcement before and after the alarms sound to indicate to the public that it is only a test.
