Annual Test of Pilgrim Emergency Sirens Planned Today

PLYMOUTH – The Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station emergency siren system will undergo its annual test Thursday.

Plant officials announced that they will be setting off the alarms in the 10-mile Emergency Planning Zone on Thursday afternoon at 3:45.

A three-minute steady siren tone will sound for the duration of the test. 

113 sirens are located in Plymouth, Carver, Kingston, Marshfield, and Duxbury.
