Annual Ukulele Fest Returns to Sandwich

SANDWICH – Toes will be tapping in Sandwich early next month as the annual Ukulele Fest returns.

The festival, which will be held at town hall from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 4, is a joint effort between the Sandwich Arts Alliance and Score Music Studio.

The program will be under the direction of Steve Gregory, who is the owner of Score Music Studio and founder of the Cotuit Center for the Arts Ukulele Orchestra.

Performers include The Zukes, Unlikely Strummers, Cotuit Center for the Arts All Stars, The Steve Gregory Household and Susan Anarino’s Dolphin Ukulele Ensemble. The show will also feature students of all ages and skill levels.

The theme of this year’s show is “#1 Hits” as every song performed has reached number 1 on the charts.

The program will conclude with all groups coming together to lead the audience in a sing-a-long of “Sweet Caroline.”

Tickets are $10 at the door.
