Another Democrat to Join Race for 1st Barnstable State Rep Seat

BREWSTER – Another candidate has entered the race for the 1^st Barnstable District State Representative seat currently held by Tim Whelan (R-Brewster).

Steven Leibowitz, a Brewster democrat and former School Committee member, has filed campaign paperwork with the state’s Office of Campaign and Political Finance.

Other candidates who have already thrown their hat in the ring include Independent Christopher Flanagan, of Dennis Port, and Joshua Mason, a Dennis Democrat.
