APCC Meets Recruitment Goal

DENNIS – The Association to Preserve Cape Cod, celebrating its 50th year, set a goal to recruit 50 new members to its ranks and has met that goal, according to the organization.

The environmental advocacy group recruited 50 new charter member businesses in the effort, Executive Director Andrew Gottlieb said in a statement.

“The Cape’s economy is dependent upon the abundant environmental resources that make Cape Cod such an attractive place to live and visit,” Gottlieb said.

“A healthy Cape environment keeps our regional economy healthy and Cape businesses understand and and appreciate that connection.”

The Association was founded in 1968 and works with dozens of Cape businesses and business leaders on environmental issues.

Recently the biggest concern has been water quality on Cape Cod.
