Applications Being Accepted For Scholarships

SOUTH YARMOUTH – Applications are being accepted by the Cape Cod Association for their scholarship program.

Over 3,000 awards, with a combined total of more than $4 million dollars, have been dispersed over the past decade.  Last year, 286 students were awarded a combined total of $430,000.

Cape and Islands residents are eligible.

In addition, the scholarships are only available to high school seniors and those attending two or four year colleges or technical schools, which can be located anywhere in the United States.  Funds are not available to those getting a graduate education.

The CCA, which was founded in 1851, takes into consideration financial needs, academic merit and extracurricular activities.

Those who have previously received a scholarship must reapply by March 15th at midnight.  First time applicants have until April 1st.  Applications can only be submitted online.
