HYANNIS – The Cape Cod Ready Renters Program is now accepting applications for new affordable apartments in Hyannis.
The “LOFTS at 57” are two one-bedroom affordable units located at 57 Ridgewood Avenue with a rent of $1,200 a month, utilities not included.
To qualify, households must earn no more than 80 percent of the area median income.
An information meeting on the units will take place Monday, January 13th at the Housing Assistance Corporation located at 460 West Main Street, Hyannis.
Applications can be received at the Housing Assistance Corporation, Plymouth Redevelopment Authority, the Lower Level of Yarmouth Town Hall, Barnstable Housing Authority, Barnstable Town Hall Planning Department, Barnstable Senior Center, and all public libraries in Barnstable.
Successful applicants will be ranked by lottery.
The lottery will consist of all qualified applications received for the “LOFTS at 57”, plus all qualified applications already on the Ready Renter wait list at the time of the lottery.
All applications must be received by Plymouth Redevelopment Authority, located at 26 Court Street, Plymouth, by 4 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18th.
