Animal Rescue League Hires First Cape-based Development Officer

The Animal Rescue League of Boston hired Mairead Graf as it’s first Cape-based Development Officer.

BOSTON – The Animal Rescue League of Boston has hired its first Cape Cod-based development officer.

The organization hired Mairead Graf to share the ARL’s mission and vision and expand its reach on Cape Cod.

Graf, who lives in Dennis, has served on the boards of several local non-profits, including Cape Cod Young Professionals, the Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce and the Community Leadership Institute of Cape Cod.

“The Animal Rescue League of Boston is a Cape Cod institution, and I am thrilled to be a part of such a wonderful organization,” Graf said.

“The work ARL does has such an impact, and it’s important for residents across the Cape to know that whether it’s adoption, reporting animal cruelty, or anything animal related, ARL is an important resource.”

The ARL has been helping animals in need on the Cape since 1921 and operates an animal shelter in Brewster.
