HYANNIS – The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod has partnered with the HyArts District, the Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce, the Town of Mashpee and the Falmouth Village Association to present 12 free outdoor concerts during the month of August.
“We are pleased that we can continue presenting free summer concerts into August with the help of our town partners,” said Christine Mascott, Director of Programs for the Arts Foundation.
“Not only do visitors and residents get to enjoy a wonderful mix of free live music, but these events are a way that the Arts Foundation can support our talented local musicians with a paid performance for a large appreciative audience.”
On Mondays in Yarmouth at Parkers River Beach, concerts will include Groovy Afternoon on August 3, The Catbirds on August 10, The Rip-It-Ups on August 17, and Four Guys in Tuxes on August 24.
On Tuesdays in Mashpee at Mashpee Community Park, concerts include Steve Morgan and the Kingfish on August 4, and The Groovalottos on August 11.
On Fridays in Falmouth at Peg Noonan Park, Chicken Fry will take the stage on August 7, and Cat’s Melodeon on August 14.
And on Fridays in Hyannis on the Village Green, concerts include CrabGrass Bluegrass Band on August 7, Brian Sances Band on August 14, George Gritzbach on August 21, and Funktapuss on August 28.
All the concerts will begin at 6 p.m.
