HYANNIS – The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod has announced the second annual Spring Fellowship Program.
An online application for funding is now available on the Arts Foundation’s website and the deadline is April 25.
The goal of the AFCC Fellowship Program is to provide cash awards to empower emerging and established Cape Cod artists at critical stages in their creative lives and professional development.
Fellowships are awarded to applicants based on craftsmanship, artistic quality, and creative ability as evidenced by the original work submitted.
In 2015, the AFCC awarded its first Fellowship to Richard Neal in the area of Visual Arts.
The AFCC’s Spring 2016 Fellowship Program will award three fellowships of $1,500 each in the following disciplines: visual arts, performing arts and written word.
Fellowship funds are made possible by the proceeds of the AFCC’s Patron Program and the annual Pops by the Sea concert.
Guidelines and an online application can be found on the AFCC website at artsfoundation.org.
The Arts Foundation of Cape cod is the regional arts agency for Barnstable County and Cape Cod’s only nonprofit arts and culture organization that serves all artists, all art forms, and all cultural and historical centers.
The AFCC’s mission is to support, promote, and celebrate the arts and culture of Cape Cod in order to sustain a vibrant, diverse and strong arts community.
