Arts Foundation of Cape Cod to Launch ‘Creative Exchange’ Podcast

HYANNIS – Have you ever wondered what makes a good story, or how  working in local arts can affect those around you?

These questions will soon be answered with the help of the new Arts Foundation of Cape Cod podcast ‘The Creative Exchange’.

AFCC Director Julie Wake and Provincetown Community Television’s Amy Davies have partnered up to host the show which will consist of ten 30-45 minute segments featuring local artists who will dive into a wide range of disciplines involving the arts.

“It really evolved from a conference that we have been producing for the past 3 years. People want to dig deeper into the different topics that affect the creative economy,” says Wake.

“There is a lot of talent here on the Cape and so we started these. Conversations and we are able to kind of cast a broader net, and provide kind of personal and professional development for the creative,” she adds.

Some of this seasons special guests will include Chalkboard Studio’s founder James Wolf, Osterville visual artist Joe Diggs, and Sara Moran, owner of Cape Cod Art Therapy.

The show which will be taped at the Center’s ‘Night Owl Recording Studio’ will soon be available on ITunes and Spotify.
